ABOUT FLAVIO BUNDI
Born and raised in Ilanz (Grisons, Switzerland) in 1987. After completing his Matura at the Disentis convent school, he served four years in the Papal Swiss Guard in Rome. He then studied German language and literature, political science and media and communication studies in Bern. Flavio has been editor-in-chief of Radiotelevisiun Svizra Rumantscha RTR since 2017.
Music has been his great passion since childhood, whether as a singer, conductor or composer. In 2012 Flavio founded the vocal ensemble kontra.cant, with which he performs one or two projects a year. He has also conducted the Lugnezer Talchor Chor mischedau Suraua since 2014. Flavio has been composing choral and instrumental music since he was 14 years old. His compositions are allowed to celebrate successes at composition competitions repeatedly. His songs "La fossa" & "Siu cor e siu maun" were sung by the world-famous vocal ensemble Tenebrae Choir on the occasion of their tours of Switzerland.
For his cultural engagement, the canton of Grisons awarded him the Cultural Award in 2017.

2nd place in the "Mixed choir" category with the song "Ei pluschigna" (text: Arnold Spescha) and 3rd place in the "Male choir" category with the song "Himni alla primavera". The song "Himni alla primavera" also received the audience award for the most beautiful male choir song.
